About

The whole point of what I do is to get you interacting.
To learn by doing. To show me how you interact, I can devise scenarios based on your ideas about the type of situations that you want to explore – either for yourself or your team. Typically these will involve a one to one encounter where you play yourself and I play – whoever you want me to be. Over the years I’ve played every type of character and emotion possible, in role-play with hundreds of different individuals. You’re in the director’s chair here, if you’re in the scenario, you can stop it at any point to explore where we are. You can press the pause button. By exploring how you felt in the situation and how you came across, but also crucially how
you made me feel, the character that you provided me with to play, it becomes possible to explore the dynamics of these particular interactions, to pinpoint the areas for change and explore the ways to do it.

When working with a team, it’s useful to get the team to act as observers and then open up their feedback. After all, you are the people doing the job and that’s why the context that colleague feedback can provide is hugely useful to the process. This way you are learning and sharing as a team and not just as individuals.
It’s an adaptable and flexible form of training that can dovetail a pre-existing training programme adding a practical element to the theory.

I hope that explains the process. Any questions just contact me on 07721 657 556 or email.
